Year 10 students kickstart their construction pathways!

This year, Para Hills High School is doing learning a little different!
A group of year 10 students are learning a range of construction skills including painting, landscaping, rendering, paving and general construction.
For 2 days a week the group apply theoretical knowledge to practical applications.
So far this term, the students have started with sprucing up some buildings with a fresh coat of paint. Later in the year we hope to see them building some play spaces for the year 7s in 2022.

Along the way, each student is gaining SACE credits in Numeracy, Literacy and community Learning while gaining a Certificate II in Construction.
Both staff and students are very excited to see the transformations that will take place around our school!
