PHHS Inclusion Hub provides tailored specialised teaching and support for students from Year 7 to 12. A transition to high school program is implemented in terms 3 and 4 to prepare year 6 students for high school.

Located in a calm and inclusive environment with self and supported regulation zones amongst five dedicated classrooms, the Inclusion Hub accommodates around 50 students. It includes Special Classes and Disability Unit classes offering a modified curriculum with smaller class sizes and additional support.

Students move within class groups for Literacy and Numeracy and other core subject areas ensuring a deliberate balanced learning and socially flexible experience. They similarly engage in specialist curriculum like Performing Arts, Technology, PE, and Home Economics. Collaboration between mainstream and Inclusion Hub staff ensures an inclusive and engaging learning experience. Co-curricular activities further support students in developing independence and life skills. See what your child will learn here

The curriculum at our school serves students from year 7 to 12. Years 7 to 10 follow the Australian Curriculum with an emphasis on general capabilities. In years 11 and 12, the focus is on modified SACE. The Inclusion Hub’s dynamic and creative curriculum is tailored to students’ abilities, interests, and post-school pathways, supported by individual One PlanGoals and adjustments to support successful outcomes.

Enrolment is done through a statewide placement process. For information, contact the Department of Education’s Para Hills Office on (08) 8314 4000.

Para Hills High School provides all students with basic stationery, so there is no need for parents or guardians to purchase any stationery items.
