Together we aim to make a positive impact, not only within our school but also in the broader community.

At Para Hills High School, community, respect, confidence, and perseverance form the foundation of our vibrant community. As School Captains, we are proud to represent a school where students and staff alike are enthusiastic, creative, and supportive.

Our team of 14 School Captains is dedicated to fostering a positive atmosphere, encouraging students to express themselves freely, and supporting each other in both academic and social endeavours. We are confident and creative learners who make the most of the opportunities provided here, and we are committed to strengthening our school culture through student-led events, initiatives, and everyday leadership.

The support from our teachers extends far beyond the classroom. They challenge us to think independently, take responsibility for our learning, and aim higher than we ever thought possible. Thanks to their guidance, commitment, and expertise, students are empowered to reach new heights, building skills that endure well beyond their time at Para Hills.

Unified by respect, we welcome new families, celebrate diverse events, and support our community wherever possible. It is our priority to ensure every Para Hills student receives the wisdom, inspiration, and independence to achieve their full potential.

This is our school, and together we are proud to be shaping its honourable legacy. We look forward to a future filled with pride and achievement—making 2026 our best year yet.

Warm regards, Metahlia and Verity

Student absences

It is a Department of Education requirement that all student absences are explained by a parent or caregiver. Students need to bring in a signed note or have their parent/caregiver notify the school for all absences.

Leaving early or arriving late

If you are late or leaving early from school, your parent or caregiver must notify the school through one of the following methods:
  • Phone: 08 8258 5466
  • Signed note from parent or caregiver

If you are late and there has been no notification to the school, an SMS will be sent to your parent/caregiver to inform them of your absence.

If you arrive at school after 8:40am you must report to the Administration building to sign-in through the school’s computer system. All the school gates are locked from 8.45am on school days to prevent unauthorised entry/exit by students and visitors.

If you need to leave early, you must report to the Administration building to sign-out through the school’s computer system.

All students leaving school early must have permission from a parent or caregiver – no student will be signed out without this permission. Staff will contact parents and caregivers if required.
