We are a medium sized school of 600 students, with a diverse staff and student population.
We are strong believers in supporting students to excel in their studies and chosen career pathways.
Our sense of community is one of our strengths - we are a small but thriving community of learners who have access to an innovative and creative curriculum and modern facilities. We teach our students not just Maths and English and the traditional aspects of the curriculum, but also how to be creative problem-solvers who have the resilience and inner resources to succeed in life. We would like our students to excel in their studies and know how the world works.
We promote performing arts and 21st-century skills like digital technologies and robotics - these are great ways to develop creavitity, problem solving and lateral-thinking skills, which will transfer to all other subjects and into life in general. Our staff and programs in these areas are award winning.
As a leader, I aim to ensure that everything we do at the school would withstand the test of ‘Would I want my child to experience this in this way’. I am grateful for you choice in entrusting us with your young people and I will endeavour to ensure they have a positive and engaging experience of education that will set them up for life.
Our collective goal is to develop young people to be confident in their abilities, secure in their identity, aspire in their purpose, and valued for their contribution.
If you need further information on what we offer or would like to book a tour of the school, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Having a walk through is a great way to determine if a school is right for your child.
Our improvement goals for 2022 - 2024 are:
Improve the literacy (reading, writing and oral language) levels of students across the school
Increase the number of students progressing into SEA and High Band achievement levels across the school
